February-ish

Can you tell me how to get..... how to get to Sesame Street? Here we are on the stoop at the Children's Museum's Body exhibit. The puppets from Sesame Street hosted different exhibits, and Peanut was content to hang out and check out the rest of the kids.

This is Peanut and two good friends, in front of his favorite toy (for now). The kids had a great time playing around and he had fun chasing the older kids!

Just a great shot of him watching something exciting. Stay tuned for the next photos where all of these beautiful curls go away!

Snow much fun!

In January, we took off to the mountains with friends for some snow adventures. Sadly, there hasn't been much snow this winter, so we did the best with what we found.
This move was not approved by mom.

Well hello there, do you come here often?

Peanut had the best time on the sled. Dad pulled him around a bit and he didn't like riding sitting up but on all fours like this!

You say it's my birthday?!

Peanut turned one in January! Wow- what a year. We had a birthday party with friends both young and old. One of us hadn't napped all day and might have been a touch cranky, but I'm not naming names. Okay it was him. He made it to cake time and made a terrific mess.

I love this picture, although you can't read the "birthday boy" tee shirt, but it is so Blue Steel/ male model-rific!

Happy 2010! (3 months late)

As you can see, more frequent blogging was NOT my New Years resolution! Here are a few pictures from the last few months...
Christmas was a big hit this year- Peanut stayed away from the tree until the week before, where he realized it would be fun to play with all of a sudden.

We went on the Santa Train, which took us on a rickety old train to a depot 3 miles away where the little man got to meet Santa for the first time. Unfortunately, he was not awake when our turn came. But Santa got in a little nap too, so he was happy.

This is Peanut leaving cookies for Santa, and cheese for Santa Mouse.
